I can recommend my selections of venues with a conscience. These include charity-owned buildings, where the venue fee helps fund their work. Support your locally run town hall, keeping the miles down between ceremony and reception. If the season allows choose an outdoor wedding in a local park.

This service is for the bridal couple wanting an amazing green wedding but doesn’t have time to put it all together. When the bridal couple says “we do” want to help save the environment by having a green wedding, I get inspired. I want to do everything possible to bring their vision into reality. During this time I keep in close contact with them.

My assistant will produce a wedding update report in the form a private blog, which details the wedding checklist overview so each client has easy access to review all their wedding information and the current stage of planning.

During our consultation we will review a short list of qualified green vendors. I will consult with you on how to reduce the environmental impact and increase the social responsibility of your wedding.

The Wedding Day Coach

If the bridal couple has a vision of what they want their wedding to look and feel like, but just need help managing their  plans, then this may be the way to go.

Your personal wedding day coach is the “go to ” person for the wedding officiant and will:

• manage the details of the ceremony
• manage the details of the reception
• manage the catering and entertainment schedule
• manage the schedule of the musicians, photographer and caterer

Any challenges that arise will be promptly handled.

How to Green Your Wedding

As we integrate sustainability into your green wedding plan, I can also give you tips on how to throw a green bridal shower or bachelorette party. After we have helped you select your vendors you will be on your way to bringing your vision into reality.

Two weeks before your wedding you can bring your plans to me and I will fine tune them and set the timelines etc. At that time you can decide if you want the personal Wedding Day Coach to take of all of the final details so you both can relax, well try anyway!

Love Green Weddings will arrange the entertainment for your Wedding day, from a string quartet in the entry, to the singer for the first dance. We feature trios, quartets or full band for the reception party. The track featured here is a gorgeous rendition of Etta James’ “At Last” performed by Lillooet.
